Sixty years
in the cut.

Our Roots

Started in Frederic. Still in Frederic.

Daeffler's Quality Meats opened its doors in 1962 in Frederic, Wisconsin — a small town in Polk County where people still know their neighbors and a handshake means something.

What started as a neighborhood butcher shop became one of the region's trusted names in quality meat. The approach hasn't changed: know the source, do the work in-house, and stand behind every cut.

The Work

We cut to order.
Every time.

There are a lot of ways to run a butcher shop today. Central processing, case-ready cuts, pre-packaged product. It's faster and cheaper, and most customers won't notice the difference.

We notice. We don't do it that way.

Cutting is done in-house. We work with regional farms and we know our sources — when you ask a question about the meat, we can answer it.

What We Stand For

The things that don't change.

01

Source Transparency

We know where our animals come from. Regional farms, mostly Wisconsin. Ask and we'll tell you.

02

In-House Cutting

Every piece is cut here, by our people, with attention to the actual animal in front of us.

03

Long Relationships

Our best customers have been buying from us for decades. We'd rather earn that than chase volume.
